Havn (hahv-n) is the Nordic word for “safe harbor.” When we feel safe, we can finally notice and care for the small things that matter most.
Who am I? A mom, a wife, and yes the pandemic made a sourdough bread maker out of me. I love the outdoors and finding beauty in the things that most would miss. I value meaningful conversations that are authentic, healing, and motivating.
Counselling offers an opportunity for self-discovery, growth, and increased confidence through vulnerability and connection. In this space, clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and build new ways of moving forward, with support in navigating challenges and roadblocks. Connecting to our inner being - our values and beliefs - can feel both freeing and empowering.
My approach is rooted in inclusivity and flexibility. I work to help clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours through CBT and emotion-focussed appraoches while also integrating psychodynamic techniques, recognizing that past experiences can shape present patterns.
My hope is that therapy will align you to the goals and dreams you have for yourself and for your life.
