Havn (hahv-n) is the Nordic word for “safe harbor.” When we feel safe, we can finally notice and care for the small things that matter most.
Who am I? A mom, a wife, and yes the pandemic made a sourdough bread maker out of me. I love the outdoors and finding beauty in the things that most would miss. I value meaningful conversations that are authentic, healing, and motivating.
I hold a Master of Counselling (MC) from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. I have also completed formal training in Gottman Level 1 and 2 Couples Counselling.
Counselling offers an opportunity for self-discovery, growth, and increased confidence through vulnerability and connection. In this space, clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and build new ways of moving forward, with support in navigating challenges and roadblocks.
My approach is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. I also integrate psychodynamic techniques, recognizing that past experiences can shape present patterns.
Above all, I aim to provide a collaborative, supportive environment where clients feel safe, guided, and empowered in their personal growth.
This is a confidential space to explore your emotions, thoughts, experiences, goals, and personal challenges. I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship difficulties—through authentic, collaborative conversations.
Spirituality can offer a powerful source of meaning and support. Together, we can explore your relationship with it, how to strengthen it, and what it represents in your life. This is a respectful, judgment-free space for curiosity and reflection.
Pregnancy, motherhood, and parenting involve significant transitions and emotional changes. Whether you are currently pregnant, postpartum, or preparing for parenthood, I support individuals experiencing postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and the challenges of adjusting to this new season of life
Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward? Using evidence-based Gottman Method interventions, we will work together to strengthen your relationship—supporting you in managing conflict, communicating more effectively, and cultivating a meaningful, loving partnership.
Counselling for anxiety and stress helps you understand triggers, regulate your nervous system, and develop practical coping strategies. Therapy is tailored to support greater calm, clarity, and resilience.
“Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage.” - Brene Brown
